プロフィール

私とステンドグラスとの出会いは日本にある某芸術でした

その繊細で大胆な技法は当時の私に衝撃を与え、しばらく作品の前から動けなかったのを今でも鮮明に覚えています
そしてその衝撃も冷めぬままフランスに渡り、多くの物に触れると共に現地工房にて修行をする傍らで独自のデザインを追求しました

以後帰国 試行錯誤の末、制作期間2年半をかけ初作を完成

9世紀、ヨーロッパで宗教を伝承する教会美術として生まれたステンドグラスは、後に某有名ランプの登場で表現の幅が広がり一つの時代を築きます
そして伝える事を目的として生まれたこの技術を引き継いで私にも表現が出来ないものかと考え、乱世の武将を私のオブジェの始まりに選びました

また歴史関連事業にも携わらせて頂き、今もこの先も見る人の記憶に残る作品を制作していきます

My first encounter with stained glass was through a certain art form in Japan.

The delicate yet bold technique of the work shocked me at the time, and I still vividly remember being unable to move in front of the work for a while.

Still shocked, I went to France, where I came into contact with many things and trained at a local workshop while pursuing my own unique design.

After returning to Japan.

after two and a half years of trial and error, I completed my first work, “Stained Glass Japanese Armor: Toyotomi Hideyoshi.”

In fact, during the process of creating this work, I had countless experiences, including thoughts and conflicts, my first exhibition after completion, and my first encounters, and I also received a lot of feedback.

Stained glass was born in Europe in the 9th century as church art to transmit religion, and later, with the appearance of a certain famous lamp, the range of expression expanded, creating an era.

Now I wondered if I could take over this technique, which was born with the purpose of “communicating,” and express it in my own way, so I chose Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the only military commander who unified Japan during a time of turmoil, as the starting point for my objet d’art.

I also work on historical pieces, and will continue to create and exhibit works based on the theme of “I want people to feel something.”
